Clinician-Guided GLP-1 Weight Management
Weight management works best as a plan, not a prescription alone. At Telewell, a licensed provider from our partner, Asher Health, reviews your health history and goals to decide whether a compounded GLP-1 medication, semaglutide or tirzepatide, is appropriate for you. If it is, your plan combines medication with nutrition, movement and regular follow-up.
Who it may help
Adults who have struggled to reach a healthy weight through diet and exercise alone and who want medical guidance. Your clinician decides eligibility based on your history, current medications and other health factors.
How it works
-
1. Tell us about your goals. Call us to start a general inquiry.
-
2. Online intake. You complete a secure intake form. A licensed provider reviews your medical history and may request labs.
-
3. Provider decision. The provider approves or declines treatment. If approved, you receive clear information on your medication, its benefits, risks and what to expect.
-
4. Ongoing support. Regular check-ins to track progress, adjust your plan and support nutrition and strength.
Protecting lean muscle
Losing weight can also mean losing muscle. Your plan includes guidance on protein, resistance training and recovery so you keep strength while you lose weight.
Safety first
GLP-1 medications are not right for everyone and can have side effects. Your provider reviews risks, contraindications and alternatives before approving treatment, and your progress is monitored throughout. Treatment is prescribed only when a licensed provider decides it is clinically appropriate.

Will I qualify? Only a licensed provider can decide, after reviewing your intake.
